City of Carlisle

Carlisle is located in Lonoke County which is in the central portion of the state.

Carlisle has a Mayor/City Council form of city government. We have a volunteer fire department which boasts a new state of the art fire truck. Carlisle has a Lion's Club chapter, four General Federated Women's Clubs of America, a Masonic Lodge, and a very active Carlisle Alumni Association.

Carlisle has eleven places of worship, but people of all faiths are welcome in our community.
